This project is important for Ad Hoc Solutions, because it's the start of our history. La Gaule , a company which produces craft beer in Saint-Amand-Montrond (France), came to an assessment:
Why break an object and turn it into waste?
The intuition was the right one! Whashing and reuse a bottle means-75% of greenhouse gas and -30% of water. With water we save water!
An environmental gain, but not only! It's also the promotion of the local area, job creation and the support of the local economy.
The intuition checked, it was time to design the project. Of course our grandparents were used to that, but the reinstatement is not easy. The choice of labels, the financing, the collection management, the size of the bottles were difficulties to overcome in order to realise the project.
Innovation was the key to succeed in this project. The design done, La Gaule , is from now on running their project Adopte une bouteille .
